Summary
👤
SeniorMateusz Kwiatkowski is a DevOps Manager and long-time systems engineer with 11+ years building and automating infrastructure across FreeBSD, Linux, and cloud platforms. He combines hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and configuration management (Chef, Ansible, Salt) with deep Unix roots—an active FreeBSD advocate who has used Unix-like systems daily since 2002. As founder of Serveraptor and a DevOps lead at DreamHost, he has migrated legacy workloads to Kubernetes, automated cluster provisioning, and built SaaS tooling for teams. Known for practical automation (Perl, Bash, Python, Ruby) and low-level networking experience (BGP, Cisco, IPv6), he pairs platform-level thinking with customer-facing operational reliability. Outside work he’s a scout instructor and judoka who reads fantasy and plays guitar, reflecting a hands-on, community-minded approach to engineering.
