Senior🎓
Top SchoolMateusz Lapsa-malawski is a seasoned technologist and SRE leader with over two decades of experience designing and operating resilient systems, currently at Apple after recent roles shaping hybrid cloud security patterns at Hitachi and leading GOV.UK One Login architecture. He combines hands-on software craftsmanship (Python, Django/DRF, Swift, Rust) with deep infrastructure expertise (Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, AWS, Terraform, Docker) and a track record of building in-house engineering, SRE and data teams from scratch. As a founder and CTO of product-focused startups, he blends product intuition with pragmatic engineering—shipping consumer learning apps that leverage LLMs and collaborative CRDTs (Automerge) while still contributing to open-source. His background spans regulated sectors from government and public safety to telecom and airlines, giving him a knack for secure, auditable systems under operational constraints. Colleagues describe him as an entrepreneurial problem-solver who bridges C-level strategy and gritty implementation, often surfacing elegant automation where teams previously relied on manual toil.
