Top SchoolMatheus Moreira is a senior software engineer based in Berlin with nearly 20 years in professional development and 14 years of focused experience delivering backend-first systems across finance, e‑commerce, and security domains. He brings deep Java and JVM expertise (Java, Kotlin, Clojure) combined with strong object‑oriented design, microservices and monolith architecture experience, and hands‑on knowledge of AWS, Terraform, Vault, and observability practices. A pragmatic tech lead and coach, he consistently balances delivery velocity with quality, driving solutions for data protection, transactional workflows, and resilient services (notably at N26 and in retail/platform projects). Matheus is also an avid open‑source and Linux enthusiast—creator of Lone Lisp—and enjoys exploring functional programming to improve both developer ergonomics and system robustness. He pairs excellent communication skills with a habit of probing the broader business context to prioritize engineering efforts that deliver measurable value.
