Top SchoolMathew Hany is a Software Development Engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience building scalable backend systems and full-stack web applications. He has driven performance and scalability improvements at Instabug—working on high-scale crash reporting for clients like Pinterest using Go, ClickHouse, Kafka and microservices—and now contributes at noon as an SDE. A self-taught polymath who began with PHP forums and game-making curiosity, he blends strong fundamentals in algorithms, design patterns and OOP with practical experience in ASP.NET Core, React, Ruby on Rails and AWS/Kubernetes. His open-source contributions include front-end Blade template work within the popular Laravel ecosystem, reflecting a focus on UX as well as backend reliability. Academically strong with a scholarship-backed CS degree from The German University in Cairo and further study in deep learning at Ulm University, he pairs disciplined engineering habits with a drive to mentor and create enduring products. Mathew’s uncommon strength is turning curiosity-driven exploration into production-ready systems that balance performance, maintainability and user experience.
