Summary
👤
SeniorMathias Dietrich is an experienced IT architect and software engineer with 12+ years driving cloud, security and digital transformation programs across enterprises such as American Express, Red Hat and Swisscom. He has led architecture and large-scale teams (700+ headcount) managing platforms with tens of thousands of containers and multi-million dollar impacts in revenue and savings. Hands-on across hybrid and multi-cloud stacks, DevSecOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and emerging tech like blockchain, agents and decentralized identity, he blends deep systems engineering with product-facing presales and PoC work. Notably, he built self-healing cloud prototypes, Chaos Monkey-style fuzzing tools and led a blockchain-based decentralized identity PoC on Avalanche. Based in Milan, he pairs cross-border experience in Europe and the US with a rare mix of strategic leadership and low-level coding across languages from Rust and Go to Python and Solidity.
