Top SchoolMathias Meyer is a Berlin-based technology leader and managing director with 18 years of hands-on experience bridging engineering, DevOps and product operations. He began his career as a backend developer and test automation engineer contributing to distributed systems like Riak and has since expanded into infrastructure, CI/CD and observability work across prominent open-source projects such as Travis CI. Mathias now runs multiple companies in live production and music publishing, combining technical rigor with operational leadership and a knack for technical writing and documentation. Colleagues know him for turning brittle build and deployment flows into resilient, monitored systems and for pragmatic refactors that improve both tests and runtime behavior. He balances entrepreneurial management with ongoing open-source contributions—he “used to write code once, now just writes words,” yet still delivers deep technical improvements behind the scenes.
