Top SchoolMathias Söderberg is a Principal Software Engineer with 14 years of experience specialising in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering and distributed systems, currently based in Cheltenham and driving architecture and delivery at MSquared. His career includes senior platform and principal engineering roles at Improbable and Pusher, where he helped scale real-time and cloud-native systems across production environments. Trained in software engineering and networks/distributed systems at Chalmers and Glasgow, he blends deep academic grounding with hands-on operational experience. Colleagues know him for turning complex platform challenges into pragmatic engineering roadmaps and for mentoring teams through architectural change. A subtle throughline in his work is shifting organisations from ad-hoc operations to repeatable, observable infrastructure practices that improve velocity and reliability.
