Top SchoolMathieu Amiot is a Paris-based freelance software engineer with 11 years of experience building backend, embedded, and full-stack systems across startups and product companies. He has led engineering teams and shipped production Rust and TypeScript systems, with deep expertise in Node.js, GraphQL, MySQL, Redis, and message-driven architectures (NATS). Mathieu has a strong embedded and hardware background—working with OpenGL/OpenCL, Bluetooth, kernel drivers and Yocto—bringing uncommon cross-domain fluency between low-level firmware and cloud services. He spent several years as a partner and lead engineer on IoT and consumer device projects, driving prototypes to industrialization and overseeing DevOps, security and performance audits. Known for pragmatic architecture and mentoring, he prefers ethical engagements (explicitly declining blockchain/money-laundering work) and combines hands-on coding with product-minded technical leadership.
