Top SchoolMathieu Desjarlais is a software developer and lead analyst consultant with 10+ years building customer-facing SaaS, mobile services, and complex systems integrations with a focus on performance and scalability. He is polyglot by practice, delivering production systems across Node.js, JVM, .NET and serverless platforms using languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, Clojure, Java and C#. Mathieu has led teams and overseen outsourced engineering while contributing hands-on to frontend, backend and middleware—shipping features, automations and CI-driven releases for startups and established companies alike. His background includes early-stage product work at Amperity, platform and security-focused backend development at Kapitall and EA, and recent leadership in integrations and workflow automation at Relevvo and LaunchPass. Based in Montreal, he combines pragmatic technical leadership with deep experience in databases, messaging (Kafka/Redis) and cloud deployment patterns. Often working solo under his desmat.ca banner, he pairs consulting versatility with an engineer’s attention to operational detail.
