Top SchoolMathieu Kerbel is a digital engineering leader and systems engineer based in Paris, with 7 years building high-performance, cloud-native and HPC systems. Currently Head of Digital Engineering and working as a Rust System Engineer, he designs scalable, zero-downtime infrastructures and has operated platforms ingesting data from over a million IoT sensors. He blends hands-on systems development (Rust, HPC, Airflow, Docker) with cloud architecture, security and FinOps practices to deliver cost‑efficient, compliant solutions in regulated environments. Mathieu has repeatedly moved between technical hands-on roles and leadership—running R&D divisions, leading engineering teams and shipping production-ready fullstack and data pipelines. Notably, he pairs deep systems expertise with practical QA and automation experience, having built CI/CD and test-bench tooling to shorten delivery cycles. Agile, multidisciplinary and focused on sustainable engineering, he thrives at the intersection of simulation, IoT and large-scale cloud operations.
