Top SchoolMatias Carpintini is a founder and Ruby on Rails–focused software engineer with nine years of experience building startups that blend product execution and social impact. He launched Diabecarp to reduce the impact of diabetes through data-driven care and later founded Calendico and Volt, demonstrating a pattern of creating focused, repeatable ventures. Obsessed with coding since age 14, he pairs hands-on engineering with a founder’s mindset: build fast, iterate from failure, and prioritize connections that unlock opportunities. Based in Buenos Aires and a participant in Y Combinator’s Startup School, he’s equally interested in swapping stories and exploring new collaborations as he is in leading the next product sprint.
