Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatias Crivolotti is a software engineering manager and architect with over a decade of experience, currently leading teams at PayPal after an 8+ year tenure there across full-stack and senior engineering roles. He combines hands-on full-stack development roots—front-end specialization early in his career—with systems architecture and people leadership, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver scalable payment services. His background spans startups and product teams in Israel and internationally, with practical experience in PHP, JavaScript, AWS, and large-scale data patterns dating back to building MySQL-sharded systems. Matias is comfortable moving between code and strategy, advancing from front-end developer to manager while retaining a strong technical craft. He brings a pragmatic approach to shipping reliable products, informed by long-term ownership of platform components and rapid iteration in high-impact environments. A persistent builder, he pairs deep product empathy with an architect’s eye for maintainable, scalable systems.
