Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatko Sorić is a Data DevOps Engineer based in Munich with nine years of hands‑on experience building and operating data platforms across startups and enterprises. He blends greenfield development and legacy refactoring with strong data governance, automation of cloud infrastructure, and measurable improvements in data quality and operational reliability. Known for leading cross‑functional teams, he emphasizes fast feedback, small incremental changes, test‑driven development and reversible, low‑risk deployments to keep delivery predictable and auditable. His background in philosophy and sociology gives him a rare aptitude for articulating context, aligning stakeholder needs with technical tradeoffs, and designing clear, decoupled systems. At ZEISS and Alexander Thamm he delivered scalable, reproducible data solutions while driving reductions in technical debt and promoting zero‑trust, reproducible workflows. Curious and systematic, he frames engineering choices as experiments and prioritizes visibility, recovery, and minimal handoffs to sustain long‑term velocity.
