Summary
🤩
RockstarMatt Beckett is a cloud-native platform engineer and director with 11 years’ experience designing and operating planet-scale distributed hosting across industries from fintech and gaming to managed services and betting. He combines hands-on platform engineering, multi-cloud container expertise, and FOSS advocacy to deliver automated, production-grade deployments spanning legacy on-prem and modern cloud-native environments. As a solutions and senior platform engineer at companies like Jetstack, Paydock and Civica, he’s repeatedly led end-to-end projects from architecture through support while preferring remote-first engagements and customer-facing travel. Notably, he balances deep technical delivery with consultancy-grade client interaction—comfortable translating complex infrastructure requirements into practical, observable systems.
