Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatt Bendiksen is a seasoned software leader and founder with over two decades of experience building desktop and embedded applications, currently serving as CTO and founder of Indigo Domotics, creator of a leading Mac-based smart home server. He combines deep hands-on skills in full-stack development, iOS and macOS app design, plugin architectures, and embedded systems with strong product and engineering management experience gained at Macromedia and through running his own company since 2002. His work sits at the intersection of home automation, robotics, AI, and usable UI design, reflecting a rare mix of consumer-facing polish and systems-level engineering. A Texas A&M computer science graduate based in Allen, Texas, he’s equally comfortable tuning MySQL-backed web services and designing device control plugins for real-world automation. Less obvious: his long tenure spans both shrink-wrap commercial software and modern connected-home platforms, giving him perspective on shipping durable software across major technology transitions.
