Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatt Brinkman is a seasoned developer and architect with over 20 years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale, production-grade software across healthcare and enterprise domains. He has led cloud migrations and high-throughput audit pipelines—most recently moving a 100M-messages-per-day e-prescribing audit system from Hadoop/Spark to Google Cloud native services. Comfortable toggling between hands-on coding and technical leadership, he has designed distributed systems, DevOps pipelines, and Kubernetes-based deployments for both startups and major enterprises like Target and UnitedHealth. His background in C++, Java, Scala, and cloud IaC is complemented by deep operational expertise in monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK). A Ph.D.-trained physicist by education, he brings analytical rigor and systems thinking to thorny engineering problems and mentoring teams. Based in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, he thrives on turning complex regulatory and performance requirements into pragmatic, auditable solutions.
