Top SchoolMatt Ciocchi is a Staff Software Engineer with 15 years of hands-on experience designing and operating production backend systems, specializing in authentication/authorization, secure REST APIs, and scalable data-driven services. He excels at owning services end-to-end—from architecture and SDLC through deployment and operational stability—and has repeatedly delivered enterprise-grade identity solutions (Auth0, Okta, OIDC/OAuth) for Fortune 500 customers. Technically fluent in Rust, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, C, and Postgres, he has built high-performance streaming APIs in Rust and led a GPU-accelerated compute platform, showing comfort across low-level and cloud-native stacks. His pragmatic focus on defensive coding, strong observability, and maintainability pairs with experience automating IAC and CI/CD for reproducible production environments. Based in Vermont and open to remote or relocation opportunities, he brings a rare combination of deep auth expertise and scientific-compute experience that helps teams ship secure, high-throughput backend systems.
