Top SchoolMatt Dicicco is a Director of Robotics with 12+ years building complex robotic systems that bridge software, sensing, and mechanical design—from planetary diggers and lunar/martian payloads to bio-inspired underwater robots. He pairs deep hardware fluency (CAD, machining, electronics) with production-grade software skills (C/C++, Python, ROS, MATLAB/Simulink) to deliver end-to-end robotic products and fielded fleets. His background spans JPL flight projects, DARPA challenge work at MIT, mass deployment at KeyMe, and space-focused autonomy at Honeybee, giving him rare experience across research, flight validation, and commercial scaling. Known for practical control and force-feedback expertise, he excels at turning nuanced sensor data into robust motion and teleoperation solutions. Based in New York, he’s as comfortable in a machine shop as he is architecting control stacks, and he’s currently applying that hybrid skillset to underwater bio-inspired platforms.
