Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatt Goodall is a seasoned software engineer with 17+ years building production systems across finance, cloud, and developer tooling, currently contributing at Monzo Bank. He brings deep hands-on expertise in Linux, Go, Python, JavaScript, Kubernetes/Docker and relational databases, complemented by a long history with C/C++, embedded RTOSes and legacy UIs. His career spans startups and large vendors—Bitnami, Canonical, VMware and Ebury—where he’s delivered everything from packaging and deployment tooling to real-time control and trading platforms. Comfortable across the full stack, he combines pragmatic system design with strong operational instincts for reliability and scaling. Based in Leeds, he blends commercial product experience with low-level engineering fluency, making him adept at untangling complex legacy systems while shipping modern cloud-native services. An engineer who still values embedded and systems roots, he often bridges the gap between infrastructure, dev tools and customer-facing applications.
