Top SchoolMatt Klein is a cybersecurity executive with more than 25 years of IT and information security experience who now co-owns Big Fly Consulting and serves as COO of SideChannel, blending hands-on technical roots with strategic leadership. He has led enterprise security programs across healthcare, finance, and government—building vCISO practices, rapid microsegmentation deployments, and large-scale breach response efforts that balanced risk reduction with business outcomes. Known for transforming teams and programs, he combines pragmatic program design, metrics-driven vulnerability management, and executive communication to align security with organizational purpose. A former CISO and field CISO advisor, he has a track record of scaling security operations and creating partnerships with academic programs to grow talent—an often overlooked lever he uses to expand capacity without proportional headcount increases.
