Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatt Langbehn is a seasoned DevOps and SRE professional with 12 years of experience building and automating Unix-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and large-scale cloud deployments. He’s delivered production-grade systems at IBM and SoftLayer, led CD initiatives for OpenStack and IBM Cloud Object Storage, and translated that expertise into developer advocacy and workshop-led client engagements. Equally at home in the field, Matt works as a camera assistant and photographer on high-end wildlife documentaries for clients like Disney+/National Geographic and BBC, bringing technical rigging and expedition skills to complex shoots. His unusual combination of deep systems engineering and backcountry filmmaking is complemented by FAA drone certification and wilderness medicine know-how, enabling safe, self-sufficient production in remote locations. Known for hands-on problem solving—from lab hardware builds to Kubernetes orchestration and serverless experiments—he bridges operational rigor with creative production demands. Based in the United States, he blends enterprise-scale reliability practices with practical fieldcraft to deliver reliable systems and striking visual storytelling.
