Top SchoolMatt Mills is a Staff Software Engineer in Austin with 11 years of experience building scalable web platforms, reusable UI libraries, and AI-driven product features. He has led engineering teams and shipped production systems across startups and enterprises—from co-founding Art Grab (helping artists earn $1.5M+) to driving Sysco Shop features that power $20M in daily revenue. At ArtStorefronts he rapidly prototyped and launched an AI content platform (ArtHelperAI) and built a component library and internal tooling for model training and prompt engineering. Comfortable across the full stack, Matt blends Node.js/React front-ends with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Pulumi, SST) and has hands-on experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock and LangChain. He’s pragmatic about delivery and developer experience, having established CI/CD, component libraries, and testing practices that scale teams and reduce risk. Outside product work he brings an operator’s mindset from founding roles and deep experience translating design/UX into production-quality interfaces.
