Top SchoolMatt Pengelly is a Staff Software Developer with 11 years of experience building cross-platform video streaming applications, currently doing Swift development for the Max app on tvOS and iOS at Warner Bros. Discovery. He blends deep frontend expertise—spanning React Native, JavaScript/ES6, Redux and native Swift—with hands-on platform delivery across TV, console and mobile devices. As a former technical lead at You.i TV, Matt has led large engineering efforts, improved CI/CD and repo hygiene, and coached teams to ship complex multi-platform apps on tight deadlines. He’s comfortable moving between architecture, tooling automation and critical bug fixes, and brings practical experience in realtime communications, SDKs and backend-integrated features. Based in Ottawa, he pairs a game-development background with a knack for reducing chaos in large codebases and improving collaboration across design, QA and engineering.
