Top SchoolMatt Roberts is a Senior Software Architect based in Maryland with over a decade of hands-on experience modernizing enterprise and government systems. He has led full-stack initiatives—from UI modernization with Angular, jQuery and Ajax to backend work in Java, C#, Python and Ruby—while architecting resilient services on Tomcat/Nginx/JBoss and integrating MongoDB, Elastic and Oracle. As a former software development manager at CACI, he blended hands-on coding, R&D and mentorship to upskill teams and drive a major logistics system refresh. His background includes mission-critical government projects (USCG, HHS, DoD) where accessibility, performance and secure data exchange were essential, and he has AWS, CompTIA, Mongo and Java certifications supporting that work. Colleagues describe him as a practical problem-solver who translates complex legacy constraints into maintainable, testable architectures. Despite a compact recent Github presence, his career shows sustained impact delivering production systems and mentoring engineers across large program lifecycles.
