Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark
Summary
👤
SeniorMatt Rohrer is a pragmatic CTO and senior web application developer with 14+ years delivering international, multi-site projects and bridging technical teams with executive strategy. He specializes in Ruby/Rails, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Unix/Linux automation (Chef), and has led ERP/CRM implementations while optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost, resilience and rapid deployment. At BetterNow he cut deploy times from minutes to seconds, introduced CI, implemented auto-scaling and launched the company’s first recurring-revenue products. Equally comfortable mentoring junior engineers through code review as he is negotiating technical tradeoffs with the board, he combines hands-on engineering with proven project leadership. Based in Copenhagen, he also consults on system design and ML-informed web applications, bringing a rare mix of ops, product and revenue-focused delivery.
