Top SchoolMatt W is a Cloud Practice Leader with 12+ years of hands-on experience transforming complex systems into cost-effective, maintainable cloud platforms across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. He blends deep DevOps and architecture skills—AWS, CDK, Terraform, Kubernetes, ECS, RDS and secure CI/CD—with a pragmatic focus on cost control and extensible framework creation. A proven team leader and mentor, he has driven platform and product migrations from GBST and Mercer to Objective and now Helia, consistently simplifying operations while improving security and automation. Comfortable across full-stack development (TypeScript, Python, Java Spring) and infrastructure tooling (Ansible, Vault, Docker), he favors pragmatic automation over theoretical designs. Colleagues rely on him to translate stakeholder requirements into operational runbooks and reusable frameworks that accelerate delivery and reduce risk.
