Top SchoolMatt Walters is a venture investor and operator with 13 years of experience building and scaling startups from product-market fit to corporate carve-outs and M&A. As Partner at Mission Ventures and former Head of Corporate Development at Eve Air Mobility, he blends early-stage deal instinct with hands-on corporate strategy in aerospace and mobility. His background leading Silicon Valley innovation for Embraer and co-founding an NLP startup (acquired) gives him a rare mix of product, technical appreciation, and commercial rigor. Early roles in international social enterprise and nonprofit finance show a long-standing appetite for mission-driven, scalable models. Based in San Francisco and Wharton-trained, he mentors accelerators and founders across industries, often helping teams translate technical roadmaps into investor-ready businesses. He’s known for the pragmatic mantra “build products people love,” which informs both his investing and operator approach.
