Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatteo Giaccone is a Senior Software Engineer based in London with over two decades of professional experience and a decade of recent focused experience in senior engineering roles. He has evolved from Java beginnings into mobile and backend specialties, spending much of the past decade building Android apps and Golang services for companies like Perkbox, River Island and Vonage. As director of his own consultancy, Ubiqueworks, he combines hands-on development with client-facing software design and delivery. Matteo has worked across startups, enterprise media and charitable tech projects, showing an ability to shift between fast-paced product teams and long-term architectural work. Colleagues would note his practical full‑stack fluency and a track record of shipping production systems rather than academic experimentation. He brings a pragmatic engineering mindset shaped by continuous role shifts—from junior programmer in 1999 to senior architect and lead engineer today.
