Top SchoolMatteo Gratton is a VP Principal Designer with nine years’ experience blending UI/UX craft, design ops and product leadership across enterprise banking, pro-audio hardware and design tools. Rooted in musicology and the arts, he approaches complex B2B and niche professional products with a systems mindset—having led design systems, federated collaboration efforts and internal UX research at Barclays Corporate Banking. Previously Head of UX at Midas Consoles and Design Advocate at Sketch, he translates customer voice into product roadmaps, tooling and automation that scale designer workflows. He mentors emerging designers through ADPList and meetup communities, and has a track record as a hands-on product owner who shipped embedded interfaces and consoles. Matteo’s interdisciplinary background—former musicologist and instrument-maker collaborator—gives him a rare sensitivity for tactile, high-skill user experiences beyond typical digital products. He is based in Manchester and excels at turning complex domain constraints into elegant, usable systems.
