Top SchoolMatteo Guzzo is a freelance Data Scientist and ML Engineer based in Berlin with a decade of experience turning complex data problems into production-ready products. He builds end-to-end pipelines—from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, MLOps and cloud deployment—and has delivered recommendation systems, QA search, cheminformatics pipelines, and forecasting solutions for clients like John Lewis & Partners, Deutsche Bahn and Hotspot Therapeutics. Trained as a physicist with a PhD from École Polytechnique, he brings rigorous research instincts to pragmatic engineering, often bridging academic methods and scalable software. A founding member of AI Guild and an author of a university course book on big data technologies, he thrives at the intersection of business, data and software, and routinely tackles the “real life” issues that make ML systems reliable in production.
