Top SchoolMatteo Mattiuzzi is an expert in Copernicus biophysical monitoring with 13 years of experience applying remote sensing, time series analysis, and anomaly detection to environmental and illicit-crop monitoring. Based in Copenhagen, he combines technical programming in R with product development and contract management at the European Environment Agency. His career includes field and research roles for UNODC across Nigeria, Laos, Afghanistan, Mexico and Colombia, where he translated satellite-derived insights into operational surveys and capacity building. Matteo’s background blends rigorous earth-observation science with pragmatic implementation—deploying big geodata solutions that inform policy and on-the-ground action. Trained as a Diplom-Ingenieur and with early roots in both technical systems maintenance and artistic studio practice, he brings a distinctive mix of analytical precision and visual spatial intuition.
