Top SchoolMatteo Traina is an engineering leader and solutions architect with 11 years of experience driving cloud-native transformations and large-scale IT rollouts across major European banks and high-traffic consumer platforms. Currently a Crew Architect and Engineering Manager at UBS, he previously managed global product rollouts and cross-functional teams at Credit Suisse, pairing pragmatic Agile delivery with hands-on technical direction. He has led greenfield microservices initiatives, full rewrites of core search infrastructure, and cloud migrations—often bridging software engineering, DevOps, QA and data teams to deliver on time and budget. Comfortable shifting between individual technical ownership and program-level coordination, he brings a track record of turning complex legacy systems into scalable, maintainable architectures. Based in Zurich with a Master’s in Computer Engineering, Matteo’s background in electronics and early hands-on engineering gives him a systems-first perspective that informs both design and delivery.
