Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatteo Valentini is a developer and infrastructure specialist with a decade of experience building and securing Linux-based systems, embedded OpenWrt devices, and cloud-native deployments. He blends deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, IEEE 802.11/802.3, RTP/SRTP, DNS, DHCP), iptables firewalls, and C/shell development with practical DevOps skills using Terraform, Ansible, Vagrant and Packer. At Nethesis he contributes to backend and automation projects and is an active open-source advocate and public speaker on immutable deployments, DNS-as-code and monitoring. Past roles include embedded firmware and cloud/CI work at Wiman and long-term involvement in the UWiC research and network administration project, where he helped design campus gateways and multimedia transport solutions. Comfortable across low-level system internals and higher-level infrastructure, he also brings cryptography, privacy and multimedia codec expertise that often informs pragmatic, security-first engineering choices.
