Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatthew B is a pragmatic security leader with nine years of experience building and scaling information security programs across finance, industrial IoT, and cloud infrastructure. He progressed from GE’s IT leadership and audit rotations into product security and threat & vulnerability management roles at Refinitiv/LSEG, then built CoreWeave’s first InfoSec team and later served as Deputy CISO. Matthew blends a product-minded approach—having driven security features for a robotics inspection platform—with hands-on operational programs like attack surface reduction and TVM at enterprise scale. He pairs a Security Risk Analysis degree from Penn State and a Kelley Business certificate with SANS cybersecurity training, enabling him to translate technical risk into business priorities. An avid TypeScript hacker and drone photographer, he brings a curious, maker mentality to security problems and stays current with cloud-native and developer-centric tooling. Notably, he has experience representing companies to customers, partners, and auditors, making him effective at both technical remediation and external assurance.
