Top SchoolMatthew Berners-lee is a Tech Lead and seasoned software developer with a decade of experience and a strong track record of scaling product and engineering teams—from joining a 20-person startup to helping grow it into an 800-person company. He leads a 10-person cross-functional squad at Multiverse, hiring and mentoring engineers while driving strategic product decisions and championing Elixir/Phoenix and LiveView at scale. His background includes co-founding a company to commercialize an Elixir-based SQL acceleration engine and building predictive caching and performance-analysis tooling that materially improved latency. Comfortable across product, devops (Docker/AWS Fargate) and ML-informed back-end systems, he combines hands-on engineering with pragmatic leadership and a knack for turning research-driven ideas into production features.
