Summary
🤩
RockstarMatthew Brown is a seasoned software developer with 13 years of experience crafting e-commerce and enterprise systems across startups and global brands from Yorkshire, UK. He has strong pedigree in commerce platforms (ATG, Hybris, CommerceTools), cloud-native serverless architectures on AWS, and full-stack work spanning backend services to React front ends. Matthew has repeatedly taken senior and lead roles, mentoring teams and owning integrations for payments, APIs and rules/quote engines in high-availability environments. His background includes both greenfield accelerators and long-term platform reimplementations, plus hands-on ops experience with ELK log analysis and production support. Comfortable switching languages and paradigms—from Haskell and Groovy to TypeScript and Java—he brings practical engineering discipline (TDD, pair programming) and a knack for turning complex commerce requirements into reliable, testable systems.
