Top SchoolMatthew Budram is a senior technology leader and software architect with over a decade of experience designing resilient, scalable systems across fintech, healthcare, insurance, and IoT domains. Currently a Senior Manager in Technology Consulting at EY, he blends hands-on engineering in Java, Embedded C, Python, Kotlin and TS with strategic architecture for payments, fraud monitoring and bank integrations. His background includes building enterprise application architectures, leading R&D efforts, and deploying mission-critical systems for hospitals and large teaching facilities in the Caribbean. Matthew’s academic work—co-developing a tissue-based cardiac surgery simulator used in US teaching centers and lecturing on Android development—underscores a rare mix of research rigor and product delivery. Comfortable coordinating distributed teams across time zones, he brings both practical firmware-to-cloud experience and a proven ability to translate complex domain requirements into reliable, auditable systems. A detail not obvious from titles: he’s helped operationalize remote maintenance and firmware upgrade paths for high-fidelity medical simulators, combining embedded systems know-how with scalable software delivery.
