Top SchoolMatthew Davies is an architect and full‑stack engineer with 12 years of experience modernizing complex platforms and shipping production frontends, particularly with React and TypeScript. He blends hands‑on execution with strategic leadership—leading solution design, technical due diligence, and platform transformations while mentoring teams and shaping product requirements. His background spans frontend migrations, build-system rewrites, GraphQL streaming on AWS, and backend work in PHP, Java, and Python, giving him a practical end‑to‑end perspective. Based in California, he excels at balancing long‑term architectural direction with delivery predictability and operational stability. Unusually for an architect, he still enjoys media production and cinematography work, which informs his pragmatic, user‑focused approach to engineering and product design.
