Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatthew Dovey is an iOS developer with 11 years of experience based in London, focused on building and scaling consumer apps across Swift, Objective-C and SwiftUI. He has taken projects from single-app portfolios to multi-app App Store presence, led small iOS teams, and contributed to products with millions of monthly active users and robust testing practices. His background spans startups and agency work, partnering closely with backend, Android and QA teams to prioritize features and improve product quality. Comfortable with modern dependency managers and persistence layers, he pairs an eye for detail with practical experience in widgets, A/B testing and performance-minded solutions. Notably, he has hands-on experience moving apps through the full lifecycle—including a month embedded in QA—which gives him uncommon empathy for release stability and cross-team collaboration.
