Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatthew Dupree is a computer engineer and entrepreneur with 11 years of hands-on experience spanning embedded systems, machine learning research, and developer-facing tooling. Currently a PhD student and former graduate teaching assistant at UC Santa Barbara, he has interned at AMD and NXP where he prototyped LLM-driven workflows, built demonstrators, and operationalized Dataiku pipelines for production use. His background ranges from low-level ARM OS support to web-based game prototypes, reflecting an ability to move fluidly between systems-level engineering and applied ML. An Eagle Scout with a philosophical bent, he pairs technical rigor with curiosity about broader implications of technology—a trait that guided his research into simulation tooling and novel defect-report clustering. Based in Orlando, he blends academic depth with startup-style product delivery and a knack for turning exploratory demos into documented, reusable assets.
