Top SchoolMatthew Hanlon is a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer with 13+ years of professional experience and over 15 years coding across computational science, payments, restaurant procurement, and social platforms. He combines hands-on front- and back-end engineering with architecture and product-minded leadership, having led greenfield systems, multi-tenant SaaS at scale, and integrations with high-throughput social APIs. As a founding engineer at Zitti he co-designed a near real-time, cross-vendor pricing model and embedded generative AI to cut onboarding time by 80% and surface actionable pricing intelligence for restaurants. At Oracle and Finalsite he optimized performance for large-scale, multi-tenant systems and rebuilt payment flows to reduce costs, while at TACC he managed teams delivering HPC-facing web and mobile tools. A strong proponent of web standards and accessibility, he also contributes to open-source Java templating (handlebars.java) and brings uncommon domain insight from a prior career managing restaurants. Based in Round Rock, Texas, he pairs rigorous academic honors in math and CS with a practical focus on high-quality, maintainable code that improves user outcomes.
