Top SchoolMatthew Hupman is a seasoned software engineering leader with 14 years of experience driving delivery, operations, and consulting teams—now Senior Director of Software Engineering at Yext after progressive leadership roles there including SVP of Global Services & Support. He blends hands-on engineering (early career C#, ASP.NET, PHP work and an iOS modal segue open-source contribution) with operational rigor from roles managing releases, on-call rotations, and production uptime. Matthew excels at translating product requirements into reliable, scalable systems and has a track record building monitoring and tooling for production health. Based in Virginia with a CS degree from the University of Virginia, he is comfortable shifting between strategic leadership and code-level problem solving. An understated strength is his ability to improve developer and operational workflows simultaneously, reducing incident risk while accelerating delivery.
