Top SchoolMatthew Karnowski is a Principal-level network engineer and product leader with 15+ years architecting globally diverse data center infrastructure and a strong focus on automation and operational supportability. He has moved between hands-on engineering and product roles at Intuit, Avi Networks, VMware, and ngrok, shaping technical strategy, roadmaps, and hosting platform architectures. His expertise spans multi-vendor environments—routing/switching, firewalls, load balancers—and delivering compliant solutions across DoD, PCI, SOX, and HIPAA domains. Known for shrinking build times through automated provisioning and exposing load balancing as API services, he blends deep implementation experience with product-minded delivery. An active contributor to automation tooling (notably enhancements to Avi Vantage management scripts and observability integrations), he pairs practical DevOps contributions with senior cross-functional leadership. Based in Carlsbad, CA, he brings a curiosity-driven, solution-focused approach to solving complex infrastructure challenges.
