Top SchoolMatthew Kettlewell is a senior systems engineer with over 20 years of hands-on experience building, automating, and operating large-scale infrastructure across global networks. He combines deep Linux kernel-level troubleshooting (including /proc, /sys and eBPF) with pragmatic automation—using tools like SaltStack—to keep distributed systems reliable and maintainable. Matthew has led architecture and incident responses at organizations from Raytheon to Cloudflare and Oracle NetSuite, mentoring junior engineers and documenting hard-won lessons to prevent repeat outages. He favors simplicity and metrics-driven decision making, and has a track record of solving late-night production crises as well as designing long-term, low-maintenance solutions. Based in Evant, Texas, he’s actively exploring new opportunities and brings both carrier-grade discipline and a hacker’s curiosity to every problem.
