Top SchoolMatthew Lent is a technology executive and founder with nine years of hands-on engineering and product leadership experience, currently serving as CEO of a stealth homeowner's insurance MGA and Head of Integrations Engineering at Square. He specializes in building scalable integration platforms that connect ERPs and CRMs to payment and commerce systems, having led Square Bridge and enterprise integrations with partners like QuickBooks, Xero, and SAP Business One. Matthew combines startup founding and investing experience—co-founding consumer apps and advising/angel investing in cleantech and health startups—with fintech product leadership, giving him a rare cross-domain perspective on product-market fit and technical execution. His background spans investment banking at Deutsche Bank to developer roles at Google, and academic training from Brown and Cambridge in applied math, economics, and computer science. Notably, he has acted as a hands-on dealmaker, helping two portfolio companies secure lead investors through months of strategic consulting. Based in Los Angeles, he focuses on pragmatic engineering solutions that accelerate partner sales cycles and reduce integration friction for enterprise customers.
