Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatthew Marcus is a Lead Software Engineer and veteran with nearly two decades of experience designing and delivering full-stack, distributed web platforms that scale. He specializes in platform architecture, authentication/authorization, agentic coding and AI-driven integrations, and has repeatedly modernized legacy systems—most recently rebuilding GoodParty’s backend with TypeScript, NestJS, Prisma, and Zod and refactoring its auth layer for SSO and TFA. Comfortable across cloud, big-data visualization, and front-end UX, he pairs hands-on coding with team leadership to reduce incidents and accelerate delivery. A pragmatic problem-solver, he has a history of automating large migrations (including a 90k-line JS→TS conversion using LLM-driven agents) and building separation-of-concerns that let non-engineers ship independently. Based in Tennessee, he brings disciplined, mission-focused leadership from his Army service into engineering culture and long-term legacy-driven career goals.
