Top SchoolMatthew McAdams is an Associate Director and multidisciplinary web designer-developer with nine years of experience crafting award-winning, modern digital experiences across higher education and intelligence software. Grounded in a BFA from UAB, he blends rigorous UX research, design systems thinking, and front-end engineering to set web standards, manage deployment architecture, and lead cross-unit developer collaboration for high-profile university sites. He has a track record of shipping polished, accessible interfaces and building design systems with limited resources—work that earned multiple awards and informed institutional web strategy. Outside work he balances hands-on craft (silkscreen and paper projects) with hobbies like gaming and hot chocolate, reflecting a tactile sensibility that influences his precise use of space and color in digital products.
