Top SchoolMatthew Nemitz is a Senior Software Engineer based in London with a decade of experience building backend and full-stack systems using Go, Python, and JavaScript. He currently contributes to production speech and ML-related infrastructure at Speechmatics after roles across fintech and SaaS companies like Habito and Crisp. Comfortable with databases, containers, and OS-level tooling, he pairs systems-first engineering with practical front-end know-how to ship reliable services. His academic background in Computer Science and Linguistics (with a Philosophy minor) gives him a nuanced perspective on language-oriented problems and software design. Colleagues would describe him as a curious, hands-on engineer who prefers solving infrastructure challenges end-to-end while continually learning new stacks.
