Top SchoolMatthew Starkey is a founder and hands-on software developer with 11 years of experience building scalable web and mobile products, now running Startup Foundry from Durban to help entrepreneurs launch investor-ready MVPs quickly and cost-effectively. He combines full-stack expertise (Next.js, NestJS, Flutter, PostgreSQL, Firebase) with product architecture, UX work, and cloud deployments to move ideas from validation to launch in weeks rather than months. His background ranges from banking and security systems at Derivco and ITALKPTT to leading engineering at channl, giving him rare fluency across regulated enterprise systems and fast-moving startups. Matthew’s studio-centric approach—running development, design, and infrastructure under one roof—keeps agency overhead low while preserving technical rigor. He also prototypes AI-enabled products like Bastion AI and Hiyu, showing a practical interest in applying AI to documentation and recruitment workflows.
