Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatthew Whited is a Principal Software Engineer and Architect with two decades of experience translating hardware-level design into robust cloud-native and regulated software systems, currently leading medical device backend development in Baltimore. He combines deep low-level expertise (FPGA, custom CPUs, MSIL post-compilation) with modern .NET, container orchestration, and AI/ML tooling to deliver FDA- and HIPAA-compliant solutions and dramatic cost savings. A proven crisis resolver and fractional CTO, he has rescued long-stalled AI projects, pioneered vector-search techniques in SQL Server, and driven enterprise standards across 125+ developers. His personal projects—ranging from a custom 16-bit microprocessor and SoC work in SystemVerilog to no-allocation .NET parsers and dynamic scaling Windows cloud services—underscore a hands-on, full-stack engineering ethos.
